Clean The World Event

UMOK and Clean The World Las Vegas partnered up for a homeless outreach event that was a huge success!

Our partner Clean the World has long been committed to the health and wellbeing of the community, and a dedicated proponent of WASH – water, sanitation, and hygiene. The Fresh Start WASH and Wellness mobile hygiene unit, a 40-foot long truck that provides free, safe, and private showers to homeless and disadvantaged persons around the Las Vegas valley. For our first time hosting, UMOK provided hygiene kits, washcloths, new clothing, and shoes to almost 80 individuals. As always we'd like to thank the many volunteers, including the Solidarity Fridge, and Fifth Sun Project for providing 200 burritos made with love. We will be hosting a community relief event on the 3rd Saturday of each month in support of vital efforts to protect the health and hygiene of the most vulnerable members of our communities.
