The Las Vegas Town Fridge Project and U.M.O.K. have joined forces to establish the very first location of a Las Vegas Community Fridge. Their goals with this fridge include reducing food waste and enabling members of the Las Vegas community to have access to fresh and nutritious food.
Wondering what you can donate? Produce, pantry staples, and prepared meals are perfect! In order to keep the food as safe as possible, raw meats should be avoided and prepared meals should have the ingredients and date of input labeled.
Come stop by the U.M.O.K. Distribution Center at 1010 N Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101 to help The Las Vegas Town Fridge Project fill their fridge and pantry. When we unite our movements to organize kindness, you help us help many!
Be sure to check out The Las Vegas Town Fridge Project's page on Instagram (@lvtownfridge) for more information about the movement, what to donate, and how to host an additional community fridge.
