2025 President’s Holiday Village at UNLV – Event Recap

December 13, 2025, | Lot R, UNLV Maryland Campus

Event Recap: The 2025 President’s Holiday Village at UNLV was truly a day to remember—filled with joy, laughter, and the powerful spirit of giving. Families from across our community came together to celebrate the holiday season in an atmosphere of warmth, dignity, and connection.

Thanks to the collective efforts of our partners, volunteers, and generous donors, this event reached 2,475 children across 870 households, providing meaningful support and unforgettable moments during a time when community matters most.

From smiling faces and shared laughter to heartfelt moments between parents and children, the Holiday Village was a reminder of what’s possible when organizations and individuals unite with a shared purpose. Hosted on December 13, 2025, at Lot R on UNLV’s Maryland Campus, this annual event has become a cherished university and community tradition. Every interaction reflected hope, compassion, and the belief that no family should feel alone during the holidays.

The event offered families access to essential resources, holiday cheer, and a welcoming space to celebrate together. Families enjoyed a full holiday festival experience, including toy distribution, a community resource fair, bounce houses, face painting, balloon artists, music, holiday characters, a mobile farm animal yard, and opportunities to interact with local first responders and their vehicles. For many, it was more than an event—it was a moment of relief, joy, and reassurance that their community cares.

We extend our deepest gratitude to UNLV, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, our community sponsors, resource providers, donors, and the incredible volunteers who made this day possible. United Movement Organized Kindness (UMOK) is extremely grateful to have been part of this event and to work alongside partners, volunteers, and supporters who helped ensure families experienced dignity, joy, and support during the holiday season. A special thank you to all the wonderful UNLV volunteers, including UNLV students, whose energy, enthusiasm, and commitment helped create such a joyful and welcoming experience for every family. Your commitment and generosity helped transform a holiday vision into a meaningful reality for hundreds of families.

As we reflect on the 2025 President’s Holiday Village, we are reminded that impact is measured not just in numbers, but in smiles, laughter, and lasting memories. Thank you for being part of this incredible day and for continuing to stand with our community.

Together, we are building hope—one family at a time.
