On June 25, 2026, United Movement Organized Kindness (UMOK) was honored to partner with Bridging Miracles and Three Square Food Bank for a large-scale community food distribution that brought fresh, nutritious food directly to hundreds of families throughout Southern Nevada.

This collaborative effort demonstrated the power of partnership in addressing food insecurity across our community.

Through the generosity of Three Square Food Bank, thousands of pounds of fresh produce and nutritious food were made available for distribution. Bridging Miracles coordinated the event, overseeing volunteer management, participant registration, and overall event operations. UMOK proudly supported the effort by providing our community facility at 1010 N. Main Street, along with warehouse space, logistical coordination, equipment, and volunteer assistance to help ensure the distribution operated safely and efficiently.

Community Impact

Together, our organizations achieved the following:

  • 484 individuals served

  • 110 vehicle households

  • 47 walk-up and unhoused community members served

  • 26 ZIP codes represented throughout the Las Vegas Valley

  • Approximately 8,262 pounds of nutritious food safely distributed into the community.

These numbers represent more than statistics—they represent families who were able to put healthy food on their tables, seniors living on fixed incomes, children with access to fresh produce, and individuals experiencing homelessness who received essential nourishment.

The Power of Partnership

Each organization brought unique strengths to the collaboration:

  • Provided the distribution facility

  • Coordinated warehouse and logistics support

  • Assisted with event operations

  • Supplied equipment and operational resources

  • Helped ensure safe and efficient distribution

  • Led event planning and coordination

  • Managed volunteer recruitment and oversight

  • Coordinated participant registration

  • Directed day-of distribution operations

  • Supplied fresh produce and nutritious food

  • Helped ensure families had access to healthy food options

  • Supported community food security through its regional food assistance network

Looking Ahead

The success of this event demonstrates what can be accomplished when nonprofit organizations combine their resources, expertise, and shared commitment to serving the community.

UMOK is grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Bridging Miracles and Three Square and looks forward to building on this partnership to expand access to food and essential resources throughout Southern Nevada.

Together, we are proving that when organizations work side by side, we can accomplish far more than any one organization could alone.
